SOP on Cleaning of Tablets Sorting Table

 

 

Objective : To describe cleaning procedure for  tablets sorting table.

 

Scope : To ensure that the table is clean and free from any starting materials or product residues.

 

Responsibility : It  is the responsibility of operating staff to clean the equipment.

 

Materials & Equipment :

1.      Cleaning agent: Isopropyl alcohol (70%v/v).

2.      Mops / lint free cloth

 

 

Procedure

 

(1)    Clean the table with the help of compressed air. 

(2)    Remove any visible material by cleaning with dry mop.

(3)    Clean the table with wet mop soaked in purified water and squeezed.

(4)    Again clean the table by mopping with a lint free cloth soaked in 70%v/v Isopropyl alcohol and then squeezed.   

(5)    Allow the table to dry in air and cover the equipment.  

(6)    After getting approval from Quality Control or Sr. Production Chemist put a label “Cleaned” or “Ready for use”.
