STANDARD TESTING PROCEDURE FOR MEASURING CAP 10 ML

 

1.0         Objective: The purpose of this STP is to ensure the compliance of quality of MEASURING CAP 10 ML.

2.0          Scope: To establish the standard testing procedure of MEASURING CAP 10 ml in Pharmaceuticals.

3.0         Procedure:

3.1  Description: Transparent Measuring Cap 10ml.

3.2  Height: Take 20 no. of measuring caps and measure the height by vernier caliper at different points and justify the readings are under limits or not. That should be as per limit specified in specification.

3.3  Average weight:  Take 20 no. of Measuring caps and weigh, obtained value convert in to per caps, it should be under limits.

3.4  Graduation: Measuring caps having mark line of volume at the points 2.5ml, 5.0ml & 10.0ml. So it should be necessary to confirm the volume which have shown. Take 2.5ml of water by pipette, pour in it, and check the marking line. Marking line should be following the volume. Same exercise done by 5.0ml and 10.0ml capacity.

3.5  Outer Diameter Top: Take 20no. of measuring caps and measure the top diameter  at different points and justify the variance readings are under limits or not. That should be as per limit specified in specification.

3.6  Outer Diameter with color: Take 20no. of measuring caps and measure the  diameter  with color at different points and justify the variance readings are under limits or not. That should be as per limit specified in specification. (* Outer diameter with color should be variable)

3.7  Colour shade: Colour shed should be clear transparent.
